The Circle of Life

This is a picture of Lennon's great-grandmother, Betty Trotter standing proudly beside the quilt that she had spent months and countless hours on anxiously awaiting the birth of her new great-grandson, Lennon Jeffrey Trotter. Unfortunately, Grandma Betty suffered a massive stroke just 3 days before Lennon's birth and passed on just 4 days after his birth, only 2 floors below her newborn angel. Although the opportunity for the two of them to meet face to face never was realized, they will forever share an unbreakable bond. Great-Grandma Betty was able to finish Lennon's quilt the week before her stroke. This picture, the beautiful quilt, along with countless memories and stories of a gentle, caring woman, whom we all loved dearly, will soon paint a picture for our young Lennon of his angel...the grandma who worked so hard for him and loved him so much without ever meeting him and will, without a doubt, continue to watch over him. Though she may be gone from this earth, her spirit will always live on and and her memories will always be cherished. We continue to love her and we will miss her dearly.
