We spent Christmas day at the cabin with the Hess side of the family. It was a great time like always but I forgot to take pictures. We went to my Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Chuck's house Sunday to celebrate with the Schilling clan. It's always fun too.....espcially now that there are so many babies!!! Dirk and Dill. Today is Dillon's 14th birthday......I can't even believe it!!!! It seems like just yesterday we were passing Baby Dillon around just like we are Baby Lennon. Where does the time go?

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! It's amazing how much a child changes everything! It's pretty hard not to be thankful and filled with joy and happiness while looking at this little guy! We hope that you all had a wonderful holiday and wish you all a happy, healthy New Year!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hibernation

Well, this is what goes on at the Trotter house these days. He is such a good baby! He eats and sleeps....and eats and sleeps.... and I just sit here and stare at him. We have only heard him cry a handful of times! We are definitely in hibernation mode and I'm loving every minute of it!!!

The Circle of Life

This is a picture of Lennon's great-grandmother, Betty Trotter standing proudly beside the quilt that she had spent months and countless hours on anxiously awaiting the birth of her new great-grandson, Lennon Jeffrey Trotter. Unfortunately, Grandma Betty suffered a massive stroke just 3 days before Lennon's birth and passed on just 4 days after his birth, only 2 floors below her newborn angel. Although the opportunity for the two of them to meet face to face never was realized, they will forever share an unbreakable bond. Great-Grandma Betty was able to finish Lennon's quilt the week before her stroke. This picture, the beautiful quilt, along with countless memories and stories of a gentle, caring woman, whom we all loved dearly, will soon paint a picture for our young Lennon of his angel...the grandma who worked so hard for him and loved him so much without ever meeting him and will, without a doubt, continue to watch over him. Though she may be gone from this earth, her spirit will always live on and and her memories will always be cherished. We continue to love her and we will miss her dearly.

I love this picture...he was only a couple of minutes old and staring into his mommy's eyes...
Every time we take this kid's diaper off, he seems to pee. We captured the moment during his first bath!

Our Little Glow Worm

This is our little glow worm! Lennon was slightly jaundice, so he had to spend a little time in the tanning bed. He was much better his last check-up. We have an appointment tomorrow to check his levels again. Hopefully, it will be the last time!

Lennon Jeffrey Trotter has arrived!!!!!

Lennon was born on Tuesday Nov 25th at 1:54pm! He weighed 8lbs. 10.7ozs. and was 21 inches long! (The exact weight and length of his daddy when he was born) It was the most amazing experience ever!!! He's a great baby and we can't stop holding him and staring at him. Time to try to catch up on some much needed sleep. I'll try to post some more pictures soon!

The waiting game

My due date is tomorrow! Our bags are packed, his bag is packed, his clothes are washed and put away, his room is ready, and we are ready! The question is......when will he be ready?
