6 Months!!!

Wow! I have some serious catching up to do. I've been such a slacker as far as the blog goes. Lennon is 6 months old already! He has his first tooth, started eating solid foods, and he is so close to being on the move! We are soooooo blessed to have this little guy! He is such a sweet baby!!!

I celebrated my 30th Birthday and my first Mother's Day! Both were great!!!

Oh, and we're moving!!! (This is not the best picture but it's the only one we have for now). We were not planning on moving but when we saw this house-we had to have it! It's about 15 miles outside of Peoria and on a lake. We will really miss our house but can't wait for "country living". Lennon will love running around in the 2 acre yard! We close in three weeks and we're SOOO excited!

On the other hand....some very sad news. Our other baby, Bailey is no longer with us. At least we know she's in puppy heaven and no longer in pain. Dirk saved her from the pound about five years ago and gave her a much longer, happier life. She developed bone cancer this past year. We loved her like a part of our family and will miss her soooo much! I'm sure the loss would be even harder if we didn't have Lennon's little face here smiling at us.

4 months!

We've been having so much fun that I haven't made time to blog...here are some pics of the 'not so little' guy...all 18 pounds!!!

Well, nothing too exciting to report. Just loving this sweet little boy and patiently waiting for spring/summer. We have enjoyed some beautiful days and are looking forward to many more! A perfect day for a walk!!!
We had a great time walking around the lake, through the woods, and over to the golf course. I guess you could say it was Lennon's first time "off roading". Mimi and I discovered that keystone light cans fit perfectly in the cup holders!!!

3 months old already!

Lennon is three months old already!!! The time really does fly by. He is more and more fun every day! In the past couple of weeks he has gotten sooo strong! He can sit up and even stand up just holding our fingers! He is such a cool little dude....what did we ever do without him? This boy is always in a great mood but today he was extra happy!!!
He loves it when mommy tickles him.

Bath time!

Spring Fever

Lennon has changed so much this week! He is holding his head up by himself, playing with toys, chewing on everything in sight, and constantly smiling and making all kinds of funny noises. He also dances when daddy sings and plays the guitar for him. He'll start kicking and yelling then Dirk will stop....then Lennon stops....then they both start up again. It's awesome!!!
We had another slumber party at the Tyra's new house. It's always a great time! Saturday was soooo beautiful!!! We took the boys for a nice long walk around the lake. This was Lennon's very first stroller ride! He's been on a couple more since then, too. We are soooooo ready for spring!

After the boys go to bed....it's time to get the baby monitors out and have a beer in the hot tub! (too bad all the water poured out when I got in).
